9/28/25 Fulton, MO – The Westminster women's soccer team opened conference play in commanding fashion on Sunday, rolling to an 11-0 victory over Eureka College.
The Blue Jays set the tone early and never looked back, scoring nine times in the first half. Shea Nortrup got things started in the 19th minute by converting a penalty kick, and the goals poured in from there.
Molly Angell, Kaitlyn Halamicek, Skyler English, Addi Curtis, Arles Varela, and Isabel Schmidt each tallied their goals of the match, while Claire Sanders powered the attack with three goals and two assists, including back-to-back scores late in the first half and two more in the second. Megan Muckerman and Allie Auer also added assists, highlighting Westminster's depth and balanced attack.
The Blue Jays outshot Eureka heavily and controlled possession throughout the match. Goalkeepers Reagan Chigas and Maddie Clubb split time in net, combining for the shutout without facing a shot on goal.
With the victory, Westminster improves to 4-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference play. The Blue Jays return home on Wednesday, October 1, at 7:30 p.m., hosting Blackburn College under the lights at the Kent & Judith Mueller Stadium.
