10/4/2025 Fulton, MO - The Westminster women's soccer team continued their dominant conference run with a 4-0 shutout victory over Lyon College on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays scored three times in the opening half and added one more after the break to secure their third consecutive win. 

Fiona Shelp got Westminster started early, finding the net in the sixth minute to give the Blue Jays a quick 1-0 lead. Shea Nortrup doubled the advantage in the 32nd minute before assisting Isabel Schmidt's goal just before halftime to make it 3-0. In the second half, Faith Coates added a goal in the 54th minute to cap off the scoring. 

Goalkeeper Reagan Chigas turned in another strong performance, stopping all three shots she faced to earn the clean sheet as the Blue Jays' defense posted its third straight shutout in conference play. 

Westminster will look to keep its winning streak going when the team travels to Webster on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. kickoff.
