Mar. 21st, 2026/Fayette, MO - The Westminster men's track & field team continued their outdoor season on Saturday, March 21st at the CMU Open. Four athletes competed on the track and in the field, led by sophomore Weston Jenning's collegiate-best performance in the long jump. His mark of 6.24 meters was good for 12th place in the field, and is the third-best mark by a Westminster athlete in modern program history. It also currently ranks as the sixth-best mark in the conference after the weekend.
Elsewhere, freshman Vincent Howard competed in both the shot put and discus, setting a season-best mark of 27.70 in the latter (SLIAC #8 mark). Fellow freshmen
Levi Brandt and
Max Jarvis also competed on both the track and in the field.
The Blue Jays travel back to Central Methodist University on Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd for the CMU Invite.
