April 25th, 2026/Greenville, IL - The Westminster men's track & field team wrapped up their 2026 season at the SLIAC Championship, hosted by Greenville University, on Saturday, April 25th. Freshman Nik Thieman earned all-conference honors with his third-place finish in the javelin throw on the first day of the competition; his mark of 47.40 meters was a collegiate-best. Henry Warfel, sophomore
Weston Jennings, and freshman
Chase Arnold on the team's 4x100-meter relay, which ran a season-best time of 46.45 seconds to secure fifth place.
Elsewhere throughout the competition, Arnold qualified for the finals of the triple jump, where he finished eighth, narrowly missing the personal best mark he had set a week prior. Fellow freshman Vincent Howard grabbed eighth place in the shot put, while freshman
Levi Brandt ran a personal-best time in the 800-meter run. Freshman Alden Kimlinger jumped a season-best 9.63 meters in the triple jump.
Overall, the team placed ninth with 12 points.
