April 25th, 2026/Greenville, IL - The Westminster women's track & field team wrapped up their 2026 season at the SLIAC Championship, hosted by Greenville University, on Saturday, April 25th. Three women earned all-conference honors during the weekend, led by sophomore
Amber Dierling, who brought home the team's lone individual conference title in the discus throw. Dierling took the lead with her sixth and final throw, one which tied her program-record mark of 35.27 meters (set at last year's conference championship). Dierling also finished sixth in the javelin throw, where she set a personal best mark of 30.00 meters.
The Blue Jays' first all-conference performance came from junior
Emma Braby on Friday evening in the javelin throw. Five Blue Jays qualified for the finals in the event, and both Braby and fellow junior
Natalie Stewart threw their best on their final attempts to secure third and fourth, respectively. Dierling, sophomore
Karen Goodin (seventh) and sophomore
Madison Kempker (eighth) also combined to earn the team 17 total points in the event.
On the track, sophomore
Riley Vogel finished third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, narrowly missing her debut time from the previous weekend, and rounding out the Blue Jays' all-conference award winners. Elsewhere, sophomore
Makayla Cordes and freshman
Abby Dameron also turned in top-ten performances in their respective events.
Overall, the team placed seventh with 35 points.
