3/13/2026 Fulton, MO – The Westminster men's volleyball team put together an impressive two-day showing, earning back-to-back wins over North Park and St. Norbert. The Blue Jays improve to 16-5 overall following the trip and will continue action Saturday, March 14 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Westminster opened the trip in dominant fashion Thursday, sweeping North Park in straight sets. Demitrius Allen added seven kills, and Khalil Peterson contributed four kills while hitting .667. Connor Johnson directed the offense with 37 assists, helping Westminster hit an impressive .400 as a team. Defensively, Ryan Rhodes led with 10 digs, and the Blue Jays totaled 10 blocks in the win.
The Blue Jays followed with a hard-fought five-set victory Friday, bouncing back after dropping the second and third sets to secure the St. Norbert match. Turner once again led the way with a match-high 22 kills, while Allen added 18 kills and 11 digs for a strong all-around performance. Luke Rohrbach was highly efficient, tallying eight kills on nine swings for an outstanding .889 hitting percentage. Johnson recorded a massive 61 assists in orchestrating the offense, while Rhodes anchored the defense with 20 digs. Sickles added 11 kills, and the Blue Jays showcased resilience in the fourth set, edging out a 29-27 win to force a decisive fifth set. Westminster carried that momentum into the final frame, closing out the match with a 15-9 victory.

The Blue Jays will look to keep the momentum rolling as they travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for their next matches on Saturday, March 14.
