February 7, 2026 | Jacksonville, Ill. — The Westminster College men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2026 indoor season Saturday at the Jim Green Invite, hosted by Illinois College. The meet featured a strong start for the Blue Jays, highlighted by a school record performance from
Ellie Schisler.
Schisler set a new Westminster indoor record in the women's high jump, clearing 1.35 meters to place 13th overall. On the men's side,
Chase Arnold led the way with an 11th-place finish in the triple jump.
The Blue Jays will continue their indoor season on February 14 at the Roger Haynes Invitational, hosted by Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois.
Women's Results
- Ellie Schisler placed 13th in the high jump, setting a new school record with a height of 1.35 meters. She also placed 24th in the 60-meter dash (9.17).
- Emma Braby placed 17th in the shot put (9.98m) and 38th in the weight toss (8.97m).
- Amber Dierling finished 28th in the shot put (8.56m) and 37th in the weight toss (9.28m). She would set a new school record in the weight toss.
- Abby Dameron placed 32nd in the shot put (8.03m) and 47th in the weight toss (6.24m).
- Illana Heffer finished 34th in the shot put (7.99m) and 42nd in the weight toss (8.49m).
- Karen Goodin placed 35th in the shot put (7.81m) and 41st in the weight toss (8.61m).
- Madison Kempker finished 36th in the shot put (7.55m) and 39th in the weight toss (8.87m).
- Riley Vogel placed 23rd in the mile run (6:33.19) and 25th in the 800-meter run (2:58.97).
- Makayla Cordes finished 25th in the mile run (6:38.99) and 27th in the 800-meter run (3:05.04).
Men's Results
- Chase Arnold placed 11th in the triple jump (12.00m), 21st in the long jump (5.76m), and 55th in the 60-meter dash (7.72).
- Nikolaus Thieman finished 22nd in the long jump (5.76m) and 45th in the 200-meter dash (25.13).
- Vince Howard placed 32nd in the shot put (11.07m) and 46th in the weight toss (7.95m).
- Lee Ivy finished 33rd in the shot put (10.87m) and 36th in the weight toss (10.28m).
- Weston Jennings placed 48th in the 60-meter dash (7.57).
- Aidan Szczodroski finished 56th in the 60-meter dash (7.73) and 59th in the 200-meter dash (25.86).
- Colton Sinclair placed 62nd in the 60-meter dash (7.79).
- The men's 4x200-meter relay team of Jennings, Szczodroski, Thieman, and Sinclair placed sixth with a time of 1:39.89.
- Levi Brandt finished 36th in the 400-meter dash (1:03.21) and 78th in the 200-meter dash (28.05).
- Max Jarvis placed 39th in the 400-meter dash (1:05.61) and 81st in the 200-meter dash (30.16).
