2/11/2026 Fulton, MO – The Westminster women's basketball team fell to Greenville, 76-51, in SLIAC action on Wednesday night. The Blue Jays move to 7-13 overall and 7-5 in conference play.
Greenville set the tone early, building a 17-7 lead after the first quarter and extending its advantage to 35-17 at halftime. Westminster showed more rhythm offensively in the second half, scoring 16 points in the third and 18 in the fourth, but was unable to overcome the early deficit.
Mariah Mayfield led the Blue Jays in scoring with 11 points, knocking down two three-pointers. Deyja Mayes added 10 points and went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line while also recording two steals. Amonye Allen provided a spark off the bench, finishing with six points on 3-of-4 shooting, while Evalena Claxton added six points and five rebounds. Aly Bullock contributed five points and three rebounds, and the Blue Jays forced seven steals defensively.
The Blue Jays will return home on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. for a home game against Blackburn.
