9/13/2025 Fulton, MO - The Westminster men's soccer team bounced back on Saturday with a 1–0 win over Central Christian of the Bible, securing their fourth victory of the season. 

After a scoreless first half, the Blue Jays broke through in the second half when Lucas Sottile found the back of the net, tallying his second goal of the year off an assist from Braedon Cairer. 

Westminster's defense held firm throughout the contest, limiting the Saints' chances while goalkeeper Hunter Deeken posted a clean sheet with four saves in the full 90 minutes. 

The Blue Jays generated steady offensive pressure, outshooting Central Christian behind efforts from Jack Hughes (3 shots, 2 on goal), Parker Murphy (3 shots), and Matthew Garrone (2 shots, 1 on goal). 

With the win, Westminster improves to 4–3 on the season.
