Clarksville, AR 2/15/2025- The Westminster College men's wrestling team placed 2nd overall in the SLIAC Wrestling Championships with Austen Wetzel and Cole Harrell winning their weight class. Wetzel became a back-to-back conference champion. Michael Roberts, Brenden Marquess, and Aidyn Merchant finished 2nd in their respective weight classes. Henry Warfel and Isaac Gawronski came home with 3rd place finishes and JT Roberts placed 4th. The Blue Jays scored 90 points to win 2nd place as a team. The hosts, the University of the Ozarks, had the highest team score with 137.5 points.  

The Blue Jays will return to action in two weeks when they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to compete in the NCAA regional. Regionals will take place on February 27th through March 1st.
