Pella, IA 9/16/2023- The Westminster College women's soccer team traveled to Pella, Iowa on Saturday to take on the Central College Dutch. The Dutch would be on the attack early, scoring their first goal less than three minutes into the game. Central would win the game with a final score of 3-0 and improve their record to 3-1-2 on the season and the Blue Jays fall to 2-3. 

The Dutch would out-shoot the Blue Jays 21-8 and put pressure on the Westminster defense all game, putting ten of those shots on goal. The Jays would get off four shots on goal, with three of them coming off the foot of Lauren Halamicek. Goalie Megan Davidson made six total saves in the game. 

The Blue Jays will be back in action on Monday, September 18th as they cap off non-conference play against Simpson College. The game will kick off at 5:30 p.m.
