GREENVILLE, Ill. - Westminster baseball bowed out of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament after a walk-off loss to Spalding and a loss to Greenville.

The Blue Jays end the season 17-15 with the two losses. 

In the first game of the day, the Blue Jays took Spalding to the bottom of the ninth before falling in walk-off fashion, 3-2. 

Mason Kirkweg pitched a complete game, giving up three runs, one earned, on just seven hits. 

After the Golden Eagles scored twice in the third inning on a sacrifice fly and Blue Jay throwing error in the same play, Westminster came back to add two in the sixth to tie the game. A Zach Eisenreich leadoff triple resulted in the first run of the day when Beeler put the ball in play to score Eisenreich. Ryan Klimkiewicz added a run in the inning, scoring Will Stonecipher, who reached on a wild pitch and advanced on a Hayden Hirschvogel single. 

Spalding walked the game off in the bottom of the ninth with a bases-loaded single, forcing Westminster to an immediate elimination game against Greenville.

The game was all Greeville through eight innings, with the Panthers earning an 8-0 lead. 

Westminster got in the board to stage a ninth-inning rally with a Klimkiewicz RBI and a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch RBI from Drew Bax, but it wasn't enough to keep Westminster in the tournament. 

Ian Cassidy pitched seven innings, giving up six runs, five earned. Alex Dickneite pitched his final inning as a Blue Jay in the eighth, allowing no hits.
