The Westminster men's soccer team won their fifth straight game on Saturday, September 19, with a 1-0 shutout over Simpson College. The Westminster Blue Jays are now 5-1 on the season.

Senior Kyle Collins scored the lone goal in the 22nd minute off junior Tripp Sheehan's cross. The Blue Jays took seven more shots on goal throughout the 90 minutes of play, but were unable to get past Simpson's goalkeeper.

Westminster's keeper Raul Belman (5-1) was credited with the win in goal. He had four saves throughout the 90 minutes in goal. 

The Blue Jays are on the field again on Sunday, September 20, in Fulton, Mo. They host Augustana College at 1:00 p.m. at Fulton High School.
