Tuesday's match between the Westminster Blue Jays and the Principia Panthers was tabbed as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Game of the Week, and they did not disappoint. The two teams left it on the court as they used all five sets to determine the winner. The Blue Jays came up just short, losing the final set in extra points, 17-15, to leave Principia undefeated in conference play. The Blue Jays are now 4-4 on the season and 1-2 in SLIAC play. 

Westminster won the first set, 25-20, but Principia bounced back to win the next two. The Blue Jays pulled out a set four win, 25-22, to keep them in the game. The deciding set went into extra points and ended with a 17-15 Principia win.

Sophomore Hannah Marshall led the team in kills with 19, and junior Amanda Kiso hit .308 throughout the five sets with 13 kills on 26 attempts. Junior Kayla Reeg finished the five sets with 51 assists, and freshman Bridget Ringwald had 32 digs. Freshman Nikki Testerman had three service aces, and sophomore Natalie Corrigan had three blocks on the night. 

Westminster quickly turns around and hosts Blackburn College on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The conference match is the home-opener for the Blue Jays.
