Ehrich is entering his first season at Westminster College. For the last 6 years, Ehrich has been a head coach at the high school level where his programs were district champions 3 times and captured its first ever state title in program history at Tolton Catholic High School. Chick's squad posted a winning record for 5 out of 6 years while posting a top 10 finish in 4 of the 6 years in the state of Missouri. Chick was a 2 time AAA Conference Coach of the Year, 2022 Boone County Coach of the Year, and was selected as the Missouri Class 3 Coach of the Year in 2022. Chick has been fortunate to coach many high school ballplayers who have played at the collegiate level as well as an MLB draft pick!
Before his time as a head coach, Chick was the hitting coordinator for Hickman High School that turned a previous record from 9-20, to a 22-11 record. During that season, Hickman's offense went from scoring 4 runs per game, to over 6 runs per game. Chick was also an assistant Softball coach for a couple years with 2 district championships and a state championship as well.
Chick was also an assistant coach for the Jefferson City Renegades collegiate summer team in the MINK league. In 2023, the Renegades captured the organizations' first ever MINK League championship.
Born and raised in Columbia, Chick is married to his high school sweetheart, Amber and they have two kids - Easton and Carsyn.
