Dana Chambers enters his second season with the Blue Jays as linebackers coach, bringing more than a decade of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels. A 2008 graduate of Lincoln University, Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree while playing three seasons of football for the Blue Tigers.
Chambers began his coaching career in 2010 at Kalamazoo Central High School, where he coached linebackers, wide receivers, and running backs while also serving as defensive coordinator. In 2012, he returned to Missouri to join the staff at Hickman High School as an assistant coach working with the linebackers. He was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2018 and remained in that role through 2021.
In 2021, Chambers became the head football coach at Fulton High School, continuing to build his reputation as a strong leader and mentor for student-athletes.
Chambers and his wife, Kim, have been married for five years and reside in Columbia. Together, they are the proud parents of six children: Qali, Je’Lynn, Qailen, Amiyah, Dezteni, and Danae.
