Jalen Boyd joins the Westminster College men’s basketball program after serving as a graduate assistant and JV Head Coach at North Park University from 2024-2026. During his time at North Park, he assisted with recruiting, game planning, practice preparation, player development, and daily program operations alongside the coaching staff. His efforts contributed to back-to-back winning seasons (30-23) and consecutive CCIW Tournament
appearances. He also helped develop four All-CCIW selections, including two First Team and two Second Team honorees. In addition to his graduate assistant responsibilities, he served as North Park's JV Head Coach, overseeing all aspects of the program. His work focused on preparing student-athletes for
success at the varsity level while fostering growth on and off the court. A former standout player at North Park, he earned Second Team All-CCIW honors in 2022 and received the Reed Larson Award the same year. He averaged 11.2 points per game during his collegiate career and helped lead the Vikings to the 2023 CCIW Tournament Championship—the first conference tournament title in program history. He was also a member of North Park's NCAA Division III Sweet 16 team and a nationally ranked D3hoops.com Top 25 squad during the 2022-23 season. Additionally, he served as a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from North Park University in 2023 and completed his Masters of Organizational Leadership in 2026
