Westminster College (MO)

Schmidt ('69) ran cross country and track at Westminster and was one of the most accomplished runners in school history. His accolades include winning multiple MCAU Conference Cross Country Championships from 1965-1968 and winning the MCAU Conference 880-yard dash, mile and two-mile in 1967. He was a multiple time NAIA All-American and holds the school record in the mile with a time of 4:07
