09/18/2024 Fulton, MO- The Westminster men's golf team played in the WWU Fall Invitational 2024, held at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, MO, on September 16th and 17th. Competing against a strong lineup of teams, the Blue Jays put forth a strong effort and showed promise throughout the tournament. Despite finishing in 16th place with a cumulative score of +93, Westminster showcased notable individual performances, including Niklas Olsson's scores of 79 and 82, and Lane Martin achieved a personal milestone, recording his first and second best scores in his college career with rounds of 86 and 84. The tournament served as a valuable experience for the team, as they look to build on their performances and improve in upcoming competitions, having made an impressive 80-stroke improvement compared to their performance at the same tournament last year.
