Webster Groves, MO 3/26/2023- The Westminster College women's tennis team got their season started on Saturday when they traveled to St. Louis to take on the Webster University Gorloks for a doubleheader. The Gorloks would win both matches 9-0.
Chasity Eaton and Izabelle Smith played in the #1 doubles match and lost 8-0 in both matches.
Natalie Benton and Vashanti Montague were in the #2 doubles match and lost 8-0 in both matches.
Smith played #1 singles and lost 8-0 in the first match and 8-1 in the second match.
Benton played #2 singles and lost 8-0 in the first match and 8-1 in the second match.
Eaton and Montague played #3 and #4 singles respectively and lost both matches 8-0.
The Blue Jays will be back in action after spring break on April 1st when they travel to Principia College to take on the Panthers.
