The Westminster men's tennis team lost 6-3 to Doane College on Saturday, February 28. The Westminster Blue Jays are now 1-2 on the season.

The Blue Jays went 3-3 in singles play. Freshman Peter Hasenmueller won in the four spot with scores of 6-4, 1-6 and 10-3. Junior Kyle Collins won in the five spot with scores of 3-6, 7-6 and 11-9, and sophomore Scott Strough won in the six spot with scores of 6-1 and 6-2. 

The Blue Jays lost in the one, two and three spots in singles play and went 0-3 in doubles play.

The team will play the University of the Ozarks at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas on Friday, March 6.
